System Documentation & FAQ
VER: 4.2.0-RELEASE
NOTICE: The following documentation outlines standard operating procedures for WeTheNorth Market. All users are expected to be familiar with PGP encryption and XMR settlement protocols before initiating trade.
Operational Security
This node functions as the primary authenticated entry point for the WeTheNorth network. It hosts the cryptographically signed list of active Tor hidden service mirrors. Utilizing this gateway ensures you are obtaining current .onion addresses directly from the administration, maintaining the integrity of your connection path.
Access requires the Tor Browser (The Onion Router). Standard clearnet browsers cannot resolve .onion TLDs. Configure your client to 'Safest' security levels (disabling JavaScript) before navigating to our primary hidden service: hn2paw7w627n5bro3zirrhb5bchugcjmm2mvxggnnlxqjkhhwzolbdid.onion.
Trust is established via cryptography, not reputation. Always verify the signed message on the landing page against the official WeTheNorth PGP public key. If the signature does not validate, the mirror is compromised. Never input credentials into a site that has not been PGP verified.
Financial & Trade Protocol
Priority: Monero (XMR) - Recommended for all transactions. Provides inherent privacy via Ring Signatures and Stealth Addresses. No external mixing required.
Legacy: Bitcoin (BTC) - Accepted but transparent. Requires rigorous coin control and mixing prior to deposit to maintain pseudonymity.
The market utilizes a centralized escrow system. Upon order creation, buyer funds are locked in a market-controlled wallet. Vendor receives a shipping order. Funds are only released to the vendor wallet upon buyer finalization (confirming receipt) or administrative intervention via dispute resolution. Auto-finalization timers are set to 14 days for physical shipments.
WeTheNorth operates exclusively within Canadian borders to eliminate the "border crossing" vector from the threat model. Domestic mail is protected by stronger privacy laws and is not subject to routine customs inspection. This results in near-zero seizure rates compared to international trade.
Platform Policy
Strict zero-tolerance policy for: Weapons/Explosives, Fentanyl/Carfentanyl, CP, Trafficking, and Hitman services. These categories attract disproportionate law enforcement attention and endanger the platform's longevity. Violations result in immediate vendor termination and forfeiture of bond.
Primary support is handled via the internal ticket system on the market. For access recovery or pre-sales questions when the main market is unreachable, use the contact form on this gateway or reach out via Dread. All sensitive communications must be PGP encrypted.
